Description
The first colour in our woodland – very welcome after a lockdown winter. They are ‘narcissus pseudonarcissus’, the wild daffodil which only grows in woodlands and damp meadows. It has pale yellow petals and a darker yellow trumpet so it is easy to distinguish it from the planted ‘garden’ daffodil. It also grows in clumps.
Original oil painting on box canvas 12” x 16” plus frame – £650
